Rudy Brownell Head Coach - 14th Season Undergraduation: Tiffin University- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1996 Graduation: Tiffin University- Business Administration Email: [email protected] Experience: 14 years assistant coach: (w/m-soccer 1998- 2002) Head coach: (w-soccer 2003-2009) and (m-soccer 2007- current) As a player: Brownell played as a defender in Tiffin University 1992-1995. He also helped the Dragons to get the 1992 & 1995 AMC titles. The 1992 team also made it to the NAIA National Tournament. As assistant coach for the women: He helped the team to be ranked nationally from 1998-2000. The women's also made it to the national tournament in 2000 and 2002. As the assistant coach for the men: He helped the men soccer team to win the American Mideast Conference title in 1999. As head coach for the women: Brownell led the 2003 Dragons women's a 3rd place finish in the American Mideast Conference and also finished Runner-up in the Region IX Tournament. In 2004 the Lady Dragon program finished in 2nd in the American Mideast Conference and making it to the Region IX final four. As head coach for the men: first ever regular season GLIAC Championship in 2013. They also won two consecutive GLIAC Tournament Championships in 2008, 2009, and 2011. Benjamin Dempsey
Assistant Coach - 1st Season Undergraduation: Southern Indiana - B.S. in History Email: [email protected] In his career, Dempsey recorded 191 saves, getting the second best in school history. He has a USSF “D” coaching license and he is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Dempsey was an assistant coach at Southern Indiana before coming to Tiffin. He was a member of the coaching staff with the Evansville Soccer Club and worked in goalkeeping camps and clinics. |
